What do you say, when your heart is breaking for hearts broken in ways you could never imagine? And why would you try, when you know that your words could never make it right?
Something big has happened, and is happening, and will be happening for days and months and years to come, in Ferguson and everywhere, and it is not about me. I know that. But I am trying to be a witness to the pain and anger and frustration, and I cannot help but be changed by it. I wish I had the words. I don’t.
